W · S Zemlinsky premiere on October 10th at the Musikverein in Vienna ! More than 100 years after Alexander Zemlinsky composed his 3 pieces for Cello and Piano (1891) Christopher Hinterhuber will play the first re-performance with Othmar Mueller, brilliant cellist of the Artis Quartet at the Brahms Hall of the Musikverein. In this program they also perform the for many years lost Sonata in a minor from Zemlinsky, and highlights of the repertoire as the Sonata Op.6 by Richard Strauss and the Sonata in e minor op. 38 by Brahms. On September 26th Christopher Hinterhuber plays
for the first time in one of the most scintillating concert halls
in Middle Europe, the Rudolfinum in Prague. He will perform the
5th piano concerto by Beethoven with the Staatskapelle Weimar under
the baton of Christian Arming. |
